Owner of APM Physical Therapy & Co-Owner of Jiu Jitsu Therapy
I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2009 with a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy. In 2012, I earned my Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from EIM Institute of Health Professions. I have a background in strength and conditioning, and I am deeply committed to advancing my expertise. I’m currently enrolled in a post-doctorate fellowship in orthopedic and manual physical therapy, with an emphasis in research and education. My professional expertise includes treating patients with orthopedic, post-surgical, and sports related injuries. I’m also a Certified Clinical Instructor and Coordinator for Clinical Education in my private practice driven by an enthusiasm for teaching.
Outside of my physical therapy practice, I have another small business! As co-owner of Jiu Jitsu Therapy, I am involved in the teaching and practice of Jiu-Jitsu, including women’s self-defense classes. If I’m not at the gym/dojo, I am likely lifting, taking care of my plants, or spending quality time with my husband and our Frenchies.
